I started working at the University of Turin in Italy in July. There used to be a Hungarian Studies department 25 years ago, my task is to rebuild it. I spent the previous semester preparing and started teaching now. The Italian university system is very different from what I was familiar with, so it requires a significant level of adjustment to learn how to do it. I am also working on a pilot course on trauma studies, students from four countries take part in it, we started on Friday. It will run for 12 weeks. I am editing two books, on Covid and Trauma and on Trauma and Video Games. But most of all it feels it is travelling, from Vienna to Turin every week.
